Free advance tickets are available to UK students exclusively at the Singletary Center's ticket office with student ID through the last business day before the performance. Tickets for the UK Wind Symphony concert featuring Milford High School Wind Ensemble are $12 for the general public and $5 for students with a school ID, including fees. Milford High School Wind Ensemble performs under the direction of UK alumnus Tim Dailey. The band performs four school concerts per year in addition to performing at the Ohio Music Education Association Large Group Contest. The ensemble includes students in 10th to 12th grade who audition each spring for admittance to the band the following academic year. ![]() Hailing from Ohio, the Milford High School Wind Ensemble is one of the top ensembles at the high school level. ![]() The Wind Symphony continues a rich tradition of performing some of the finest traditional and contemporary compositions in the concert band and chamber winds repertoire. The UK Wind Symphony is home to some of the finest wind and percussion graduate and undergraduate students in the nationally recognized UK School of Music. The Milford High School Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Tim Dailey, will perform works by Jay Bocook, Daniel Kallman and Henry Fillmore.
